This may be a stupid question but what is the liquid stuff you using ?
Flux. It helps with heat transfer which is very important especially with this huge motherboard that is designed to cool rapidly.
what software are you using for the schematic?
ZXW.
What the right price to pay to get such thing fix
I still don't understand about fixing the color
I just installed the slide rail and made sure everything was connected securely but now my switch is draining the battery super quick. Does it need to be calibrated all over again? I unplugged the battery cable as you did in the video and as far as I know, it’s pretty snug on there.
Very nice good work thank you
Thank you! Cheers!

I am having so much trouble getting the cable and pins to break free from the board. I have tried leaded solder with the iron at 380 C, and a hot air gun at 430 C. Ive held my iron on the first pins for many seconds while applying force to try to life the cable up, but its not budging. Could you please let me know what temps you used, and if you have any tips, tricks, or things I might be missing? I work for an electronics repair shop, and I've soldered many usb and hdmi ports onto boards, but this is one job that I seemingly cant figure out!
It’s the first time I seen someone do the pins before the anchors
I'd recommend whichever way works best for you. When doing the anchors first, there has been a couple times that I had to go back and reposition. Doing the pins first, at least in my experience, assures that everything gets lined up the from the start.
Would it be possible to do it without removing the thermal shield and using plastic, non conductive tools as I don't have any thermal paste?
It may be possible, though you would be working with the battery still connected which isn't the best idea. Alternatively, from what I've seen the thermal paste under the metal plate is not as critical as that which is further inside against the processor. Re-spreading some of the existing stuff is probably fine and they put plenty on to work with from the factory. Just don't get it dirty and you should be okay.
@@GoCellPhoneRepair Thanks for the advice and quick response!
Thank you this helped
Thanks for your video, it was very helpful. I could fix my switch following your video😸 (you forgot to connect the metal plate with the motherboard haha) thankss
Good catch. Yes, one of the antenna wires was not plugged in while I was recording the video.
Extremely tiny parts! Wow!
What schematic software you use ?
In the video ZXW. My license is about to expire though and I am considering a switch to XinZhiZao.
Where are tests points ? Thanks !
I don't have a plastic spudger so I used a metal scalpel slowly but surely and it did the work just fine
Was muttering to myself when the springs in the 2nd joy con did not want to cooperate
Oh man, that one is kind of a pain. I probably would have been doing more than muttering if the microphone wasn’t on.
Hello had the soldering iron at 400 C didn't want to stick please what flux you use not on the outside of the pads but on the inside the small square ⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜ Im doing this right now but the 5G Antenna Wont Stick the to the small boxes ⬜ please help
I have my soldering iron at 840 C so that might be why it was a little easier for me. The flux is only on the outside of the antenna as I found it too difficult to prevent it from sliding around when there was flux underneath. That said, I think that any decent SMD flux should work in this situation.
Will there be a video for the right stick as well? Oh and another question. Should you replace the thermal paste when removing the heat pipe?
I will make a video for the right stick as soon as I get a chance. The heat pipe thermal paste isn't all that critical, but at the minimum, I'd make sure to re-spread it so that there is some coverage. You can add a bit if you have some on hand but you don't need to clean the surfaces like you would for a CPU/GPU.
@@GoCellPhoneRepair Thanks you very much for answering my question. I just want to build in some gulikit halleffect sticks. In the video from gulikit there were some people how commented, that you should replace the thermal paste cause it may get brittle - but I don't have any thermalpaste and I am not an expert for such things.
Sir how much
Hi. Please visit gocellphonerepair.com/services/ to submit a price inquiry. I'd prefer not to give quotes here as things tend to change over time.
Finally found the right version for my Ps4, this really helped! Great video and thanks.
Glad to hear it!
Thought this would save me but it is the Matte cover with the logo that is stuck for me, can't slide it at all. My PS4 CUH-1206a sounds like a vacuum at full blast 24/7
Color on my phone 0:28
I broke it :(
where can you buy such a new connector?
Most parts suppliers will have this. Otherwise ebay.us/TazwCn
The thumbnail remind me my childhood for unknown reason lol
I think I'm gonna used the super glue technique.
Hello, i want to ask. I have iphone 5g and the homebutton didn't work. If i replace it, can i use the 5s style home button into my 5g? Thank you
The cables that connect them are quite different. So to answer your question no. You might be able to find an after-market iPhone 5 button that looks like a 5S but the real ones will not fit at all.
Professional tutorial. Thank you
You are welcome!
These other repair shops should be sued a few times.
I'm a Watchmaker. If you want ultra fine tip on your tweezers buy "C3"
What is that protection at 19:55 on the grey metal plate that looks like white paper/tissue ? Should there be a contact between the thermal paste on the CPU and a thermal pad on the other side ? Thanks in advance.
The lighting might make it look different than it is but that is just the surface of the cleaned heat sync. There is no other material on top of it.
wish I can just replace mine but soldering would be to hard to do for me. I have to get another motherboard instead to avoid this 😂.
does the camera show live view while you work in stereo mode? In a lot of trinocular cameras I have used in the past, you had to block the view from one of the oculars (so you work in mono, not stereo) in order to get video out from the camera.
Yes it does. Make sure that what you get is “simul-focal.”
Dafuq is that for music? Blasted my ears 😅
Yeah... I wanted something to fill the silence but the UA-cam editor only has loud and everything beyond loud as options. Think I'm gonna delete that.
I didn't mind the silence myself to be honest
What if the phone got wet and when I go to plug in the phone the warning light comes up saying that is phone is heating up when charging
I would consider replacing the charge port.
mine still doesn’t work jus flashes the dead button even if it’s charging
There are a lot of things that can go wrong with this tablet. Charge port, charging IC, PMIC, CPU... thorough diagnostics would be helpful.
Nice job not easy to open this!!!
Thanks! Definitely not one of my favorites.
What kind of flux you to make the Antenna stick specifically please im trying to do my own repair iron Good video btw
I'm using 2UUL from Union Repair at the moment but note that the flux is only on the outside of the antenna connector. The pads underneath will still bond and I don't apply it there to prevent it from slipping around. I've used Mechanic 225, Kingbo, Amtech... all of them work just fine.
Thank you
is a value of .70 instead of .59 okay?
Sounds close enough. There will be some variance based on different meters.
original analogic joycon fit on switch lite too?
Yes. Original, Lite, and OLED are all the same.
Mines won’t power back on did I do something wrong.?
Funny how this was a recall on the iPhone 12, but Apple swept this one under the rug
Really? I had not heard about that one.
What temperature are you using?
Hot air is 430C. Iron 840C.
He has the same iPad, but the second generation works normally, but it does not connect to the wired headphones. I tried everything. You can know the problem if it is U2
Thankyou so much
You are so welcome!
Very good and informative video, thank you! It helps me a lot towards making my choice :). I have a question regarding the camera you are using on top of the microscope. Would you mind to share it's model/specification?!
Sure thing. Right now I am using the Hayear 14mp Tv Hdmi USB Industry Digital C-Mount Microscope Camera Tf Video Recoder DVR with a Digital Industry Microscope Camera Stereo Microscope 1/1 CTV CCD Adapter C-Mount 38mm to 25mm Connector C/CS Adapter.
@@GoCellPhoneRepair Thank you!
I have an issue with the brightness of my iPad Pro screen. It's very low, and I can't see anything except the startup Apple logo. After that, the screen remains black. I don't think it's a battery problem because I can hear the charging sound when I plug in the charger. Yesterday, I replaced the battery, and everything was working fine, but after reattaching the screen, this problem occurred. It's the IC Power that's the issue??plz answer me
When the logo comes on at first is it also dim? If so, then you likely have a backlight issue either on the display or the motherboard. On the board it is usually a diode/diodes or the backlight driver itself. If the logo is bright during boot up then you likely have an image related issue.
@@GoCellPhoneRepair and after 3 days I no longer see the logo could this be the power supply IC? Or could the problem be with the screen and I need to change it? I have had this new screen for 3 months :((((((
